One more team story

Occasionally our team would get together for a team meeting. Several people lived in Salt Lake, I lived in Jacksonville, but we would gather in Evansville, Indiana where most of the team lived. As part of the meeting we would often work late to try to resolve as many of our customer issues as we had outstanding. We would jokingly refer to these as ticketfests since our issues were documented in tickets. We would stop at the grocery store, pick up snacks, and jointly resolve as many issues as we could.

One time one of the many snacks that we picked up was lemon essence prunes. If you haven’t tried them, they are delicious. Maddie and I were working on a particularly trying issue when we suddenly realized to our horror that we had managed to snack our way through much of the bag of prunes. This was before they needed to change the name to dried plums.

The look of realization on our faces was likely very comical. Of course, the next day we learned that not only are lemon essence prunes delicious, they are effective. Perhaps we should have been more thoughtful in our consumption of them. So, just as there had been a ketchup pack in that basket from the team, there was also a bag of lemon essence prunes. I ate one. It was as delicious as ever.

They should make little snack bags of lemon essence prunes so on that occasion when you come across someone that is full of "you know what," instead of telling them, you can just hand them a mini bag of prunes and walk away! :-) I hope your day goes exceptionally well! Robin

OMG that prune story was so funny!
My Mother used to eat frosted mini-wheat's like a prescription, and heaven forbid anyone would give her one more than she allowed herself to have in the morning, she would get quite upset. If only she was a conscientious about her pharmaceutical pills which my sister (who is a nurse) would check and her Monday through Sunday pill box never seemed to be correct...

Hi Barry, this was a classic. I'll never forget the look we gave each other and, of course, the laughter that followed. I brought home a bag of these wonderful treats the other day and also had one and then another and then another. . . it is really hard to eat just one. I finally had to walk away from my desk, bag in hand, and put them away. I learned my lesson the last time! LOL!!!

Love ya,

Maddie
