It's official

On Thursday June 26 Rick is officially retiring. He has worked for the state of Florida for over 30 years and has decided that this is an appropriate time to retire to devote efforts to my recovery and my care. He was at the office today cleaning and packing up, talking to staff. I know he’ll be sorely missed there but greatly welcomed at home. Rick is 59 and so he could have continued to work for a number of years but has chosen the path that he feels is most appropriate.
